Defibrillator
The defibrillator located in the cabinet in the porch of Hempton Memorial Hall was provided and maintained by the Poor's Land Charity for the community.
The location was chosen as the unit requires power to protect the unit from the cold and the heat and is reasonably central to our village.
Defibrillators (Defib) have a guardian to ensure that they are emergency ready. The guardian registers the unit on The Circuit so that the local ambulance service are able to send a caller to 999 to its location.
Knowing where you nearest defib. is helps in an emergency situation, as every second counts.

In 2025 the guardian for this defib has been notified by The Circuit 5 times that the defib. has been removed from the cabinet.
You will also note there is a defibrillator located on Green Lane Pudding Norton. This defib. is provided and maintained by Hempton with Pudding Norton & Testerton Parish Council.
